Thank you for your interest in our website. We pray that it will refresh your soul. If you do not as of yet have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our desire is that this day you might come to know Him in a personal way. Our goal is to help you know God in a better way. Please let us know if we can help you in any way.

My wife and I are grateful to the Lord that He has counted us faithful putting us into the ministry. Though raised in completely different parts of the world he has united us with one heart.

Through different circumstances, God led us both to Crown College in Powell, TN. After graduating, we had the privilege of being employed by Pastor Sexton to work at Crown College and Temple Baptist Academy. Now God has called us to the next phase in our lives.

Oh, how good God is to work in our lives. As a child God worked on my heart putting in my heart a desire to be a missionary. I went forward during a conference and surrendered my life to Him. Not wanting to jump to conclusions, I did not make that decision a public one. I wanted God to work in my life and take away all doubts. Today I stand assured of the fact that I could do nothing else but what God has called me to do.

I was born and raised in the country of Brazil. I spent about 17 years in Limeira, SP. The great majority of my friends through those years were Brazilians. Coming in and out of their homes, and being in church with them, I have learned much about the culture also.

In my 12 years at the Temple Baptist Church, God greatly increased my burden to see churches planted in Brazil. I have prayed for years for my friends in Brazil that are not saved. May the Lord use me to win them to Christ when I return.

Conhecendo Deus is designed to help people come to know Christ as their personal Savior. Please help us to share the God of the Bible with those around you.

We deeply appreciate your interest in Conhecendo Deus. Thank you for taking the time to peruse the site. We sincerely hope you have the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour. We have found in Him our eternal hope.

Long before my wife, Julie, and I met we were introduced to Jesus Christ through our parents. Both of us, having been raised in Christian homes were nurtured with the teaching of the Bible. The wisdom and love of God is so clearly expressed in the Bible through the Lord Jesus Christ that He captured our hearts and won our souls. We both, at a very early age, realized our need of Him and His salvation. God be praised that when we came to Him, He was already there to receive us with open arms! Together with our children God has called us to bear the great name of our Saviour to the people of this world.

We have been specifically directed to the country of Brazil. This diverse country with almost 200,000,000 people is a land of tremendous opportunity for Gospel outreach. We are firmly convinced God wants the various people groups in Brazil to know Christ just as we know Him. God had called me to Brazil in the August of 1997. Between then and now, I attended Pensacola Christian College, met my wife who was training as a nurse, worked in church ministry in Virginia, attended The Crown Seminary and also worked for both The Crown Seminary and The Crown College. God has also been gracious to give us three darling children, Selina, Gabriel and Elijah. They have truly brightened up our home and ministry. We endeavor to minister in the city of Porto Velho to evangelize the lost, establish churches, edify the converts and entrust them to the Lord.

This website is just one part of our ministry. God put it in my heart and has miraculously brought it to pass. We are trusting Him to continue blessing its content and extending its influence. We pray that Conhecendo Deus would be a blessing to you. If we live to see just one person know Him as we know Him all our efforts will be eternally worth it.
